Welcome Wagner Farm Rescue Fund (W.F.R.F.) was founded in 2002 from a need to establish a humane alternative to slaughter for the farm animals of the Glenview (IL) Park District's Wagner Farm when these animals are no longer wanted at Wagner Farm. Wagner Farm Rescue Fund is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit Illinois corporation, working with both our sister organization and coalition, Have A Heart Farm—also a 501 (c) (3)—and The H.E.A.R.T. Coalition (Helping Each Animal Receive Time), in the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the Have A Heart Farm animal rescue sanctuary and its mission of a humane non-caged and community interactive placement site for farm animals, dogs, domestic cats, feral cats, primates, and wildlife, with a special focus on animals with varying special needs.
